We bought a tray of pastries to share with family. Really delicious, fresh and large selection! If you are a tourist to Ostuni, I really recommend buying a pastry here. Our tray cost €15 and was a really good selection for a group of people and you can pick and choose or ask them to give you a random mixture.We just popped in here for some gelato. WOW the best I’ve ever eaten. Not dense at all, light and delicious. The ladies in the shop are super friendly too and asked us where we were from despite the language barrier we had a good laugh with them.

One of my favorite pastry shops in the Ostuni area. I love to visit occasionally every time around, as I have an habit of carrying delicious pastry presents to family and friends as I go visit them (never show up empty handed when visiting any southern Italian household is a must). You can't absolutely go wrong with mignon style pastries; la Cassata carries a wide variety of them, including but not limited to traditional local favorites, mini cheesecakes and fruit pies as well.
Traditional large size goodies are also available such as Tiramisu', all kinds of Cheesecakes, Ice Cream Cakes and more. Staff has always been kind, prepared, reliable and welcoming as I show up with my demanding pastry needs *_* always greeted with a warm welcoming smile, coming and going, both ways. Très bonne adresse, avec un grand choix de pâtisseries, biscuits, gâteaux glacés et glaces. Personnel très sympathique. Nous y sommes retournés plusieurs fois, en particulier pour acheter des plateaux à offrir. Tout est délicieux. Aussi beau à regarder que bon à manger !
